We may be smiling in this picture but 2016 was a tough year. Jon's no-hair look was not a fashion choice, it was from the chemo.
After headaches and strange bouts of fatigue, Jon went to the doctor and to our shock was diagnosed with cancer; non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Fortunately, non-Hodgkins is quite treatable. We are pleased to report that Jon is in remission and healthy.
We recognize that Hightail is a product with a focus on vanity and while we have no problem with people wanting to look good, we thought we could also create an opportunity to give back and help fund cancer research. Because...cancer really sucks.
Looking good, and doing good are often put into separate camps.
We don't think these ideas are mutually exclusive at all.
That's why we created the "Look Good, Do Good" campaign.
We will donate $1 of every Hightail hair protector sale to the Cancer Research Institute.
When you purchase a Hightail hair protector $1 will be donated to the Cancer Research Institute.
The Cancer Research Institute (CRI) is dedicated to delivering breakthroughs in cancer treatment through immunotherapy research.
Immunotherapy harnesses the bodies immune system to fight cancer cells and has the potential to work for all cancer types.
